Keith Zeller and George Benson
OUR DEAR FRIEND and fellow Memory Brother, Keith Zeller
of Winona, Minnesota, got to spend some time with famed guitarist
George Benson a couple weeks ago!
Ten-time Grammy award winner Benson was in the area performing, and it
just so happened that one of Keith's buddies is on Benson's road crew.
Arrangements were made, and Keith got to hang with Mr. Benson for an
entire afternoon - talking guitars, amps and life in general.
Keith's reaction: "George was just the most down-to-earth, gracious person you'd ever want to meet!"
The two hit it off so well that George invited Keith and his wife, Michelle, down to his home in Mesa, Arizona for a visit.
Maybe Mr. Benson will learn a few new guitar licks from Mr. Zeller, our favorite bluesman! |
